To begin my R&D task I am going to brainstorm ideas using Padlet, a useful online brainstorming tool.
I am encouraging myself to distance myself from the final product and instead focus on the issue initially. Therefore my initial ideas involve issues.
My current ideas involve:
– Relieving Stress
– Addressing Diversity in the Film Industry
– Addressing the vagueness of film age rating classifications
– Information Overload
I am then going to create a product to solve some of these issues, however at the moment I am focusing on the stress relief idea, as I have the most ideas in terms of a final product that I can relate it back to. My main ideas involving this include a website that users can visit if they are stressed that will play relaxing music, as well as relaxing visuals. Or a music visualiser, that will allow the user to upload music of their choice, which the website will then turn into a relaxing visual.
